Travel Journal Workshop

Brand new in Urban Heart's range of workshop: the Travel Journal Workshop! Normally it's only bookable with a minimum of 8 people, but on the 17th of May we're holding a special DIY session so you can sign up even as an individual! Come join us on this Travel Journal Workshop! We've invited Karen from Indigo Craft Room to give this workshop in Leeuwarden, on the 17th of May 2020 at 11.00 in the morning. This workshop will be given in English - but she'll be able to assist you in German or Spanish as well!

To the beach or to the mountains? A vibrant city or the quiet countryside? Summer walks or winter hikes? Backpacking from hostel to hostel or staying at five-star hotels? No matter the destination or the way you travel, one thing is for sure: you will need checklists to prepare your travel so you won't miss anything important. And of course, a place to keep track of your days, or to list your favourite experiences!

Learn a basic stitch bookbinding technique and make your own Travel Journal for your next vacation!

You will learn the entire process of binding a pocket notebook from scratch: how to fold the paper, how to sow the pages to the cover, and after that, how to start personalizing your book with stamps, stickers, stencils and more.

The Travel Journal workshop is all-inclusive: you don't have to worry about buying your own bookbinding tools or papers. Urban Heart will provide all the materials and tools that you will need to work on your creative little project. This includes an exclusive selection of hand-marbled and hand-dyed paper to make your Travel Journal a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
